To Store a Method

To store a set of parameters for an assay, scan, etc. as a method set up the instrument in the normal manner entering all parameters as prompted.

When the prompt ‘Load sample: RUN’ is displayed, press the PROG key to select the method store state.  Enter a four digit pass code as prompted, (0 may be entered for no security), and the parameters will automatically be stored as a method and assigned a number.  The prompt ‘Load sample: RUN’ is then displayed again.
