MW3000 software update

Recently, I switch on the MW3000 the onboard computer asks me to update the software by connecting a host pc and running the flashupdate software.  I have browsed discussion board of your company website. Firstly, we will change the two batteries, one is circular (CR2477N) , anoter is yellow, rectangular snap-on battery package. Question is how software update wil be performed?
