Hi Rutty, Hi Joseph,

Have you managed to solve the Lid Error 4.7 problem on your Hettich EBA 200 ?

I may be able to help if you have not sorted this as i had a similar problem on the same model.

Have a great weekend,

Mike

Hello mn300,  I am experiencing the same issue with my EBA 300.  What do suggest since cycling the power does not correct the issue?

Hi Brenda

We found that one of the cogs on the lid lock mechanism was no longer driving the larger cogs on the lid lock to open/close the lid.  We did try glueing the cog back onto the shaft of the motor but found this did not last long. Though it did solve the fault for a few runs of the centrifuge.

In the end we decided to purchase a new lid lock online and fit it ourselves.

I have copied the link below:-

http://www.centrifugeparts.co.uk/Lid_Lock_Mechanism_for_Hettich_EBA_200_centrifuge/p2357358_18978241.aspx

Good luck !!! Let me know if you need any help fitting as I may be able to help if you need it as I did have some pictures.

Good afternoon, we have been experiencing the same issue with our EBA200.

We managed to source a replacement lid lock from the guys at DJB Labcare  https://www.djblabcare.co.uk/ for a reasonable price. Once it arrives we just have the task of fitting it!

Would you be willing to send over some photos of the repacement process mn 300? It would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Mark
