As an SME and approved supplier to CSD of South African government a quotations are hereby invited for the supply of Analytical Segment Flow Analyser to the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)based in Stellenbosch

QUOTATION REQUIREMENTS

 

The CSIR Stellenbosch Environmental Laboratory for the Coastal Systems Research Group offers nutrient analyses of environmental waters with typical concentration ranges of 0.05mg/l - >1000mg/l in terrestrial samples such as freshwater, waste-water, industrial effluent and sewage.

The laboratory requires an Analytical Segment Flow Analyser (Seal Analytical AA500) in order to test nutrients at sub µg/L ranges in marine waters.

The quotation should include full installation, commissioning and seawater methods application training.

SPECIFICATION DETAILS

1.Working range for NH4-N, PO4-P, NO3-N, NO2-N, SiO4 of 0.5µg/L - 1000µ/L. With a reportable Limit of Quantification calculated at 10x Standard Deviation of lowest quantifiable standard of

2.Simultaneous automated testing of all above parameters.

3.LED light sources for low power usage, long life and stable beam.

 

4.Multi test manifolds for back up of methods and ease of spares and consumables supply.

5.The bubble must pass through flow-cell and the software must utilize a software de-bubbling algorithm. This feature is required to reduce carryover and increase sample throughput.

6.The manufacturer must provide pictures and documentation from the operator manual showing how the system does this.

7.The pump plate must be able to be automatically engaged (locked onto pump) from software to allow for unattended start-up of a run.

8.The pump plate must have software controlled automatic disengage (release from the pump tubes) to allow complete unattended shutdown of the system. This improves pump tube life.

9.Pump must have at least 34 positions for 2 or 3 stop pump tubing. The more tube spaces the more versatile the system.

10.Instrument must have adjustable slots for 1 & 2cm flow-cells.

11.Quotation should include 10 consumable kits and 10 spares kits (including flow-cells)
