Eppendorf 5804R has CHANGE ROTOR displayed after every run

I have an Eppendorf with the CHANGE ROTOR displayed after every run, the ROTOR has been replaced and all functions operate as they should.

In the user manual it mentions this is after 100,00 runs and to contact Technical services,

Dont quote me on this but it sounds like a safety feature built into the software which gives a warning after 100,000 runs to protect from injury with an aged rotor.  I'd imagine if the rotor failed after this period and warning, it would negate Eppendorf from any liability.

Personally i'd look at purchasing a new rotor and getting the warning reset.
