Agilent 8453 uv spec - board troubleshooting advice

Hi,

We have a Agilent 8453 uv spec that died after a power outage.  It would not turn on.  The power supply was checked to be ok.  We replaced the G1103-66502 board that controls the lamps as we could see damange on a chip.  Once replaced the instrument and lamps can turn on but we are getting a digital signal processor error and it seems to be no communication to the SDA board.  When  I go to the instrument information there is no information for the SDA board.  Am I missing something with installing a new board?  is there a hardware diagnostics to troubleshoot possible errors?

Could my main board be the issue even though everything turns on fine?
