RS-232 CABLE

We have LS 230 PARTICLE SIZE ANALYZER in our lab. Which kind of RS-232 cable is required for this instrument and computer connection? NULL MODEM CABLE or STRAIGHT THROUGH CABLE?. We need to replace this cable, since computer is not communicating with the instrument.

Since most newer computers are not provided with serial ports, we now utilize a USB to serial adapter cable.
