Features of TCS STED
Confocal nanoscopy down to the 50nm range The Leica TCS STED provides an optical resolution of 50-70 nm, pixel by pixel, thanks to the combination of excellent optical components and ultraprecise positioning resulting in the maximum STED efficiency.
Study colocalization at the nanoscale - with dualcolor STED The integration of a second pulsed excitation laser at 531 nm gives access to dual color nanoscopy – the entry into a new dimension of colocalization analysis. The quasi-simultaneous acquisition of the two channels ensures the generation of highly reliable data without any requirement of postprocessing.
Intuitive to operate and purely optical The integration of the STED functionality with the user-friendly LAS-AF software (Leica Application Suite Advanced Fluorescence) provides superresolution by a mouse click and protects against operating errors. Combined with the purely optical STED concept, this results in scientifically reliable results – devoid of algorithms.
STED, confocal and multiphoton seamlessly integrated Find STED technology and the full versatility of the TCS SP5 combined in one system. The Leica TCS STED is not only a superresolution microscope but also a fully equipped multiphoton confocal system with up to five internal spectral detectors. Profit from the patented innovations of our broadband confocal, such as spectral detectors, the AOBS or the Tandem Scanner.
