The TT-200 Viscometer is flange mounted for use on mixing/blending/storage tanks or in pipe lines using a "T" fitting. The viscosity measurement range and operating shear rate are designed with Brookfield's assistance to suit specific applications such as the 511 sec-1 required by the API standards.
The standard viscometer has a single speed/single shear rate drive. Optionally available with a variable speed motor for variable shear rate requirements or pilot plant applications involving different materials with a broad range of viscosities.

Features of TT-200 In-Line Viscometer
- Defined shear means agreement with Brookfield Laboratory measurements at equivalent shear rates
- Shear Rates 10-1,000 sec-1
- Capable of pressures up to 500 psi (34 bar) and temperatures up to 500°F (260°C)
- Continuous measurement eliminates need for "Grab" sampling and allows for prediction and constant control of final product properties
- Concentric cylinders provide defined shear measurement
- 4-20mA output signal provides a variety of display and control capabilities
- Flange mountable directly into tank or in pipeline tee
- Can be operated at shear rates of 511 sec-1 for American Petroleum Institute (API) measurement needs
- Rugged 300 series s/s construction
- Repeatable to ±.5% of full scale range
- Available with explosion proof class 1, Div. 1 and 2, Group D design
