The “Flash” BWB Flame Photometer mini product line was created in January 2018 to answer the request from global distributors and users for a lower cost version of the Highly Acclaimed BWB “XP” that has dominated the Flame Photometry market since 2007. These new models feature the identical inbuilt custom designed air compressor (rated for thousands of hours of trouble free service), the expandable Menu structure for units of measure, and the customer benefit of the “Just Add Gas” philosophy for simplified ordering and startup. These are the same benefits as our premium line of XP Flame Photometers, just with a slightly restricted Options list and fewer Laboratory and Fluids kit items.

The design criteria for this new 2018 line was to provide a modernized replacement flame photometer for the hundreds of units in service in the USA and Canada that are now decades old. These older units have no replacement parts and no servicing is currently available. These are Perkin Elmer, Jenway Instruments, Corning and Sherwood Instruments units as well as the units supplied by Cole Parmer, VWR and Fisher Scientific.

When the costs of adding the extra components that are required to operate the flame photometers sold by our competition are totalled up, (calibration solutions, diluent solutions, various user replacement optional detection filters, optional software that ties to computers; AND the big cost, the required Air Compressor) the benefit of simplicity and cost savings of the “Just Add Gas” - "only one order number needed" we provide is apparent.

Simple to order, simple to use, minimal tabletop space required, Major Power in simple software as standard (FP-PC), the new "FLASH" is another exciting offering from BWB Technologies USA. For new emerging markets: aqua farming, flow injection analyses, educational markets as well as the Replacement Flame Photometer marketplace in the USA.
