Features of FL 6500™
The FL 6500 instrument features and benefits include:
Pulse Fluorescence Spectrometer Uses a pulse Xenon lamp with user defined Power Settings. Power settings range from 20 to 120 Kw Preferred for Phosphorescence and with samples where photo-bleaching is a concern. For samples where phosphorescence data is required, or when samples are at risk for being photo-bleached, the FL 6500 provides high quality results with a pulsed excitation source. Superior accuracy for right first time results Compact footprint to free up valuable bench space (occupies only 26 inches of bench space) High-energy Pulsed Xenon source preserves the integrity of the sample and delivers accurate and uncompromised results Adjustable power settings are ideal for phosphorescence and avoiding photobleaching Ideally suited for bioresearch including cell-biology, immunology, enzymology, protein analysis, and microplate-based measurements Long lived Xenon light source requires changing every 5 years Xenon flash lamp ensures sensitivity across the whole wavelength range up to 900 nm Replacing bulb can be done solely without the assistance of service [need to add bit about standard software
