Homogenizer - HMG
The Pharmag Homogenizer HMG is used in the preparation of oil-in-water and water-in-oil construction in quantity of up to about 30 Kg/h. A piston pump produces the homogenization. The Materials may be fed to the pump either from a hopper, having a capacity of 1.5 litres, or a screw nozzle may be attached with a suction filter, which primes the premixed materials from a storage container.
The Homogenization takes place by the forward and backward movements of the piston. A vacuum is created during the backstroke of the piston, which primes the liquid back. During the forward movement of the piston, the liquid is pushed against the tip of the nozzle. The Adjustment of the nozzle determines the fineness of the homogenization. The HMG is equipped with a graduated scale. Hopper, piston and nozzle are made of stainless steel. The HMG is connected directly to the UAM Motor Drive
Accessories
Heatable Funnel made of stainless steel supplied with electrical heating unit to maintain temperature to 60o C (140o F)
Filler and Circulator to speed bottle filling permits filling directly, into bottle and re-circulates overflowing material to the hopper for re-homogenization.
