Grinding pearls between 200 micron and 5 mm in diameter guarantee maximum energy intensity and an effective surface area enlargement in the end product. Typical applications are mineral fillers, glazing raw materials, flame retardants and non-mineral hard materials including limestone, quartz, zircon, sand, talc, ceramic colors and frits, and titanium dioxide.
