The FUZION™ line of portable, rapid field sampling products enhances the capabilities of Torion’s person portable TRIDION™-9 GC-TMS instruments. The FUZION-3 product will accommodate up to three different modules including sample desorption (SD), heated headspace (HS), purge and trap (PT), and internal standard (IS) additional modules. The FUZION-3 can be easily configured to meet your specific application requirements for sample preparation and analysis at the samples’ location.         
         
The SD module is used to thermally desorb compounds collected on a CUSTODION®-CT (used for trace levels of compounds) and transfer them to a CUSTODION-NT for injection onto a TRIDION-9. The IS module is used to add internal standard to a CUSTODION-NT prior to injection to improve quantitative results.         
         
The FUZION-3 can be programmed from the front panel or when connected to a PC via CHROMION® software. The FUZION-3 products along with the TRIDION-9 GC-TMS allow air sampling and analysis to be performed in the field without separate compressed gas supplies or an AC power source being available.
